Inspect the box for damage before the driver leaves. If you see any damage ask the driver to wait while you open the box and inspect the contents for damage. If he can not wait or if you find any damage to the contents ask the driver how to file a damage claim with his company. Inform Golden Motors of any damage and the need to file a damage claim.

When Your Ebike Kit Arrives…

Unpacking and Inspecting...

Use a box cutter, short blade knife or possibly scissors to cut the packaging tape and straps. The wheel and components are shipped inside a clear plastic bag with Styrofoam blocks on each side of the hub and surrounding the rim.

Remove the Styrofoam blocks surrounding the rim and lift/slide the plastic bag with contents from the box or lay the box flat on the side opposite the components and slide the plastic bag with contents out of the box. You can also cut the box along each edge and open it completely.
